Editorial Queries

This site exists because readers in Nigeria deserve a plain account of what a broker offers before they commit any money, and that obligation shapes how we handle correspondence. We write and maintain the review of HFM published here, and we answer questions about that work: how a particular section was researched, what a term in the review means, why a feature was weighted the way it was, and when the page was last revised. If something in the review reads unclearly to you, say so; reader confusion is usually a sign that the editors have not done their job properly.

We also welcome substantive observations about the broker's published terms, fee schedules and product documentation, provided they bear on the accuracy of what we have written. Correspondence that engages with the text is read carefully. Correspondence that simply asks us to praise or condemn a firm is not.

Write through the contact form on this site and address it to the editors. Please state the page and the passage you are referring to, so that the right person picks it up.

Press and Partnerships

Journalists, researchers and publishers who wish to quote or cite our review should use the same contact form and mark the message as a press enquiry. We are willing to confirm the date of publication, the scope of our research and the limits of our conclusions, and we ask that any citation carry those limits with it. We do not provide commentary on behalf of any broker, and we do not speak to the market on anyone's behalf but our own.

On partnerships, our position is narrow. We consider requests relating to the distribution or syndication of our editorial content, and we consider corrections or clarifications proposed by the subject of a review. We do not enter arrangements in which a firm pays for coverage, for a favourable conclusion, or for the removal of criticism. Any proposal that depends on such an arrangement will be declined, and the fact of the proposal may itself be noted in our records.

We are an independent editorial resource. We are not the broker, we are not affiliated with the broker, and we do not provide financial services, accounts, deposits or advice. Nothing in any partnership discussion changes that position.

Response Times

The editors aim to acknowledge messages within three working days and to give a substantive reply within ten working days. Press enquiries with a stated deadline are prioritised where the deadline allows a considered answer; where it does not, we would rather decline than guess. Correction requests follow the process described below and are usually handled within the same window.

These are targets, not guarantees. The editorial team is small, and a message that requires us to re-read source documents will take longer than one that does not. If you have not heard within ten working days, a short follow-up through the same form is appropriate and will not be treated as pestering.

We read every message. We do not reply to messages that are abusive, that appear designed to waste the editors' time, or that come from automated senders.

Account Matters

We cannot help with anything that belongs to your relationship with the broker. That includes opening or closing an account, verifying identity, deposits and withdrawals, transaction disputes, leverage settings, login problems, complaints about order execution, and any question about funds held with the firm. We have no access to client records, no ability to intervene in a case, and no authority to speak for the broker. A message asking us to chase a withdrawal will be answered with a pointer to the broker's own channels and nothing more.

This is not reluctance. It is the boundary that makes the review independent. A site that both reviews a firm and acts on individual accounts cannot credibly claim to be doing the first.

For all account matters, use the broker's own support channels as published on its website. Those channels, not this page, are the correct route.

Corrections and Support

If you believe a statement of fact in our review is wrong, send a correction request through the contact form on this site. Identify the sentence, explain what you say the correct position is, and attach or link the document that supports it, such as a published fee schedule, a terms page or an official notice. Please date the material, since terms change. We check the source ourselves before changing anything.

Where the point is established, we correct the text and add a dated note to the review recording that a change was made. Where the evidence does not support the request, we say so and leave the text as it stands. We do not remove accurate material on request, and we do not edit reviews to suit the subject.

For everything concerning your account, your funds or the firm's services, go to the broker's own support. This site has no other office to send you to, and no other answer to give.
